Legal & Co was founded by Caroline Mehdi who has been a legal adviser since 1980 specialising in divorce and family law.
Throughout her 40 year legal career Caroline has worked at some of the top law firms in the country and represented many people from all walks of life and resolved disputes both in and out of court. These have been in matters such as relationship breakdowns, divorce, international divorce, matrimonial finance, matrimonial property disputes, children, debt, insolvency and mortgage repossessions.
Caroline has also served in an advisory capacity for the Citizen’s Advice Bureau in Berkshire and been in charge of divorce and family law departments for various UK law firms during her 40 year legal career.
In 1988, Caroline was hired as a Litigator by Lord Digby Jones (former Minister of Trade & Industry and former Director General of the CBI) to join Edge & Ellison one of the top four law firms in Birmingham.
In 1995, Caroline made headlines in the newspapers Click here for newspaper article for being in one of the first law firms in Bracknell, Berkshire to be granted legal aid franchise awards in divorce and family law cases. These awards were a seal of approval from the Legal Services Commission (formerly Legal Aid Board) for quality of service.
